What I mean by (MAN)
A Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) is a type of computer network that covers a larger geographical area than a Local Area Network (LAN) but smaller than a Wide Area Network (WAN). A MAN typically covers a city or a metropolitan area and is used to connect different LANs or other networking equipment within that area.
A MAN can be built using various technologies such as fiber optic cables, wireless links, and leased lines. It can be owned and managed by a single organization, or it can be a collaboration of multiple organizations or service providers.
A MAN is typically used by businesses, government agencies, and other organizations that require high-speed connectivity between different locations within a metropolitan area. For example, a MAN can be used to connect multiple branches of a bank or a hospital, or to connect different government offices within a city.
Overall, the primary purpose of a MAN is to provide fast, reliable, and secure communication between different locations within a metropolitan area, enabling efficient data exchange and collaboration between organizations and individuals.
